I got a few quotes from this builder in July 2022 and made an agreement on k the price and the job including materials He started the job and he bought different roof tiles to his invoice and when he completed the job I checked it myself and it was a shock! The tiles were cracked the valley was cracked and broken and the tiles were cut on edges at different sizes. I got building control to come check it and they gave a report of incomplete work and then I got a roofer he gave a report that it was done to very poor standards I had paid £4500 and remaining balance was £4500. I took the roofer to court but lost the case due to not submitted the correct evidence that n the deadline given and for this reason my case was dismissed and he got his order so I paid him the reaming balance. On the first rainfall fall after he said he completed it rained and all the water came in not the house the whole roof had to be taken off and re done which was done in July 2023
A was promised a full roof replacement with 18 years warranty but on the first rainfall the water had come inside to the attic and then into the main bedrooms
